It’s amazing how Ruby has bonded with Hannah! That dog absolutely loves her and enjoys all the things a 7 year old does. Never seen anything like it. Bane is 90 lbs. He is so so so loyal. Whatever task we are doing, we usually have to look between two black ears because he puts his nose into everything he is very “helpful” lol. He’s so extraordinarily protective and in tune to our expectations. Everything is a threat to him, however, one word from us and he will relax and quiet down. He is absolute behavioral perfection at the vets office, at parks with kids, and in the car. He is very respectful the leash, walks with slack at a heel with very little reminding. He is extremely playful, energetic, and always willing to please. We get compliments on him every single time we take him anywhere. He loves his big brother, Blitz, (our other shepherd) and emulates everything from him. It’s made training incredibly easy and most of the daily behavioral things, I didn’t actually teach he just picked up by observation. He is incredibly intelligent you can see his mind working as he tilts his head to problem solve. He has been an absolute delight and the best addition to our family.

Bane is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He is protective when it comes to strangers and he doesn’t like to be away from us. If we leave for 5 mins and come back he acts like we been gone all day. In our eyes we will never know a dog as sweet as him. By far my favorite dog I have ever had and will always have a German shepherd. Our son was terrified of dogs till we got Bane. Our son has hung off Bane, pulled on him, laid up against him and even when Bane didn’t want him to all he would do is look at us and lay there. He loves giving us all kisses. I could really go on for days. Just an amazing dog and will never be another dog like Bane in this house.
I want to compliment you Elmer on what a truly amazing puppy Bane is. You have the perfect recipe figured out. Your dogs are so amazing and stable minded and their temperaments are blissful I can tell you have had a hand in raising these pups. You very clearly put your time and love into all the dogs and puppies. I worked in the Vet field for over 6 years and I swear to you I am not saying this because Bane happens to be mine, he is the best puppy ive ever encountered. His temperament and his social skills with other dogs and his behavior with us and my nephew and the car ride etc, i am truly blown away. He was only with you for a few short weeks but what you’ve done so far set a very solid foundation for me to build him up from. I cannot wait for our future together Bane is going to be a magnificent dog. The rest of my pack loves him, hes so playful but respectful. We played for hours running around the house and the yard. I really cannot express my gratitude towards you for putting so much of your heart and soul into these puppies. It shows and it pays off. ❤

My fiance and I adopted ‘Tank’ now renamed to ‘Rookie’ from the Cerry / Abby litter.
Today, Rookie is 10 weeks old and is responsive to the commands of sit, stay and down. Rookie also lets us know every time he has to go outside.
A veterinarian confirmed Rookie is in good health and she had absolutely no concerns.
I will definitely be getting my 2nd pup from Elmer, despite having to drive all the way from northern Illinois.

We purchased Zeus one month ago and couldn’t be more pleased! This pup is highly intelligent and learns very quickly. He has a wonderful disposition. Great bloodlines are very apparent here. At 17 weeks old he is 43 pounds… a beautiful big boy!
Update… GSD’s are Amazing intelligent animals. They can learn and remember a command after 3 repetitions. Zeus is my PTSD Service Dog in training. Although he does not sleep on my bed, he has come up to awakened me from nightmares and lay by my side until my breathing returns to normal. He then returns to his guard at the bedroom door. I did not teach him this as he is just in the socialization stage of his training. I also didn’t teach him to remove my hand gently from my face during a panic attack and refocus my attention to petting him, yet this is what he does. At 12 months old he continues to amaze me. He is my loyal companion. Thank you Elmer for my boy, Zeus!
Update… Zeus is at 134 pounds and eats $300 plus in “Hills Science Diet” per month, hes doing great with his service dog training!

“I have owned several really good dogs in my 67 years. When my Shepard died a couple of years ago I thought I would never find one as good again. I just wanted to give you an update on Willa. She has been such a joy and I have to admit that I have spoiled her rotten. She sleeps with me, thinks she is a lap dog and thinks that every time the car leaves the garage she should be in it. She does go with me almost everywhere.
She does scare people that come to my door because she sounds like she is going to rip your leg off, but as soon as I tell her no she calms right down. I do like the fact that she is so protective. I have had so many people, including 2 police officers, that want her, but I couldn’t part with her now. I did get her spayed so no puppies as you requested.
Anyway, I know if she had been mine for 3 years, I would miss her and would want to know that she is doing well.

Update…. Blitz at 8 months old, he is so well behaved! I was pretending to spank my 11 year old boy when Blitz put his paw on my hand and held it down. He loves his “boys” and is very protective of them. Just amazing!
Update…. At 9 months Blitz is huge… he is very protective. He loves to cuddle. Such a good boy. 80 pounds and gentle enough my 11 and 9 year old can walk/jog with him, he is the most amazing dog! We love him.
Update…. We are now getting Blitz our male dog (from Grace/Cerry 1st litter) neutered in 2 weeks. The vet said it makes him sad because hes the best looking German shepherd he seen in 30 plus years of being a vet. 😍

Hello Elmer! I have an “Indy” update. She is still a growing girl weighing in at around 87 pounds. We get compliments on her temperament and how well behaved she is everywhere we go. Friday night we enjoyed the outdoor patio at a local brewery with Indy stretched out at our feet. The people passing by could not believe how well behaved and beautiful she is. Here she is spending time with dad off leash…. Noticed a cat on the sidewalk across the street… she could have cared less.
